Staycation Guide

June 26, 2017

With a very long 4th of July weekend heading our way- what an excuse to get away. A staycation can always do the trick and make you feel like your somewhere far when you are only a two hour drive away from home!  So where to go for this 4th of July weekend?  This is my quick guide of fun ideas for a mini getaway not too far from LA!

To Party: Vegas is the ultimate place to go to if your looking for a fun filled weekend from pool parties, to after parties, to after after parties- after all, it is nicknamed Sin City.

To Relax: Palm Springs is ultimate place to kick back and relax in the sun. Most of my days in Palm Springs are filled with pool, sun and spa. After a long relaxing day, we then typically end off our day in town for some dinner and cocktails!

For Beach: Nothing lets you escape and recharge like the beach! I am so blessed to be living next to some beautiful beaches including Malibu, Santa Monica and Venice  which are only about a 20 to 40 min drive.  For a bit of a longer drive some other beautiful beaches include Huntington Beach, Orange County, Santa Barbara and MORE.

For Tourists: San Francisco is such a beautiful city to visit and a long weekend is the perfect amount of time to explore this city!  It is only a short plane ride away and it’s totally worth a visit if your looking to tour and explore!

For Family: San Diego seems like the perfect city to visit and explore with a family. Between the beaches, San Diego Zoo, Sea World and more; you and your little ones can have fun filled days of activities!

Truth is it doesn’t matter where you choose to escape to this long weekend as long as your in the right company and allow yourself to disconnect. One of the beauties of California is that it’s so diverse and you don’t need to travel far to get away.  Hope this guide helps with some inspiration on where to go and don’t forget to fill me in on some of your ideas of where to go for this 4th of July weekend?!

P.S.

Nothing makes you feel like your on vacation like some chic new looks to go with your vacation vibes. Shop Tobi for some super easy and cute looks like this nude embroidered romper I am wearing here!(shop here)  I paired it up with these flirty nude Bon Drop earrings for Bitz of Glitz. (shop here) To complete the look I wore these Antik Batik sandals I got from Saks off Fifth, Bcbg Hat and Dior Sunnies.
